Tailored to your taste

Whether you want to hit the iconic highlights of Shibuya and Ginza, or dive into the hidden, local pockets of Tokyo, we are here to craft the perfect food-focused day for you. While many of our tours blend classic sights with local gems, we also specialize in truly unique, bespoke experiences. Here are a few examples of custom requests we’ve brought to life to spark your inspiration:

#1 surprise birthday celebration

The Request: "A surprise seafood-focused birthday tour for my husband—he’s a seafood fanatic, but I’m not! Can we also include anime shopping?"

The Result: Sarah meticulously scouted the best seafood spots (lunch and shopping) and a world-class anime district to create a perfect balance. To ensure success, Sarah previewed the entire route beforehand, confirming seafood product availability and easy navigation. We enjoyed a local seafood lunch and prime shopping, all perfectly timed and accessible from their hotel, which resulted in a seamless and truly memorable celebration.

#2 off the beaten path

The Request: "I want to see the 'real' Tokyo, away from the tourist traps. Keep it relaxed and local."

The Result: Sarah curated a route through a vibrant, neighborhood shopping street rarely visited by tourists. They enjoyed a quiet, traditional soba lunch at a local-fave spot, followed by a visit to a temple steeped in history but free of crowds. The afternoon concluded at a kominka—a traditional Japanese folk house converted into a cozy cafe—for matcha and sweets, offering a deeply authentic and peaceful break from the city's intensity.

#3 Fugu & Golden Gai

The Request: "I want to try Fugu (pufferfish) for the first time, plus an authentic izakaya hop—specifically starting early in Golden Gai."

The Result: Sarah researched specialized Fugu restaurants to find one that served the exact dish the customer wanted. She then mapped out a neighborhood route that connected this restaurant to several authentic izakayas and standing bars. Sarah personally scouted bars in Golden Gai that open early, ensuring they could enjoy the atmosphere before the late-night crowds arrived, providing a private and intimate culinary experience.

#4 Narita Layover Solution

The Request: "We have a 10-hour layover at Narita Airport and want to do a tour, but are worried about the logistics."

The Result: Recognizing that Narita itself lacks enough for a full day, Sarah suggested a direct train route to Ueno and Asakusa. She designed a high-impact 6-hour itinerary featuring deep-dive history, Asakusa street food, and serene park walks. They managed to include a high-quality sushi lunch and a bit of shopping, creating a stress-free, culturally rich experience that got them back to the airport right on time.
